  1. Hi Myisha! I see you have Charlotte's Web posted on your blog, it that your favorite book? I really enjoyed it myself growing up. My third grade teacher read it to us and I really enjoyed it. I love Charlotte and her magnificent words!

  2. Myisha, great choice for the book! When I was doing my student teaching, I researched which chapter book would be best as a read-aloud (over a period of a few weeks) for a group of kindergartners and it came down to this book or the one I ended up choosing (My Father's Dragon, by Ruth Stiles Gannett,--which was a total hit!). I was totally bummed I didn't get more time to "play teacher" so I could read that one next. Great choice!

  3. Myisha, I love the way that you described each person who influenced you in your present life. I think you explained them in great detail. The people that you described in your blog seems to be very supportive, loving, and kind people especially your mother. The details about her are amazing.

  4. Myisha,

You were very blessed with your childhood influences and very lucky that your grandparents knew that education was the key by helping you with your tuition. May your children be as blessed as you are to know such loving and nurturing people in your life.

I enjoyed reading the article from NAEYC regarding independence in young children. Very insightful article!

  6. Hi Myisha I really like the code of ethics that you put up. What I really like about this code is how you explained that it is right for us to be able to respect and have concern for children and families and that is absolutely right as professionals we should always respect and have concern for everyone we come in contact with.
